You asked for it—so we made it! We are thrilled to announce the release of our brand New 2023 Lieb Cellars Sauvignon Blanc, the latest addition to the Lieb Cellars portfolio and one that we are particularly proud of!
The bottles have officially landed in the Suhru & Lieb Vineyards Tasting Room after a September pre-release to Wine Club Members. Before it even hit our shelves, it got its first award (of many, we hope!) James Suckling rated this new Sauvignon Blanc 91 points and we are very proud—nicely done, Russell!
Fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks, our Sauvignon Blanc has a lively fruitiness with gooseberry, hints of lime, quince, and grapefruit rind aromas that flow onto the palate. Fresh and bright with a nice richness of flavor of the palate, this wine has a lingering grapefruit characteristics on the finish and crisp acidity, all showcasing the distinctive characteristics of the varietal which make it such a beautiful pairing with seafood and local produce.
