August is a special time at Suhru & Lieb. As summer reaches its peak and the vineyard prepares for another harvest, we're taking a moment to celebrate the wines that started it all—the bottles that have defined our story and continue to be the foundation of everything we do. Whether you're a longtime member or just beginning your Wine Club journey, we're grateful to have you along for it.
🍷 The Wines That Started It All This month we're shining a spotlight on a few of the wines that have become member favorites over the years:
- 2024 Pinot Blanc – our signature white and a North Fork classic
- 2024 Lieb Estate Chardonnay – fresh, elegant, and beautifully balanced
- 2025 Suhru Rosé – the perfect companion for warm summer afternoons
- 2023 Lieb Estate Cabernet Franc – one of the wines that helped establish the North Fork's reputation
- 2021 Lieb Estate Merlot – smooth, expressive, and always a crowd favorite
- NV Sparkling Rosé – a bright, celebratory sparkler that's perfect for sharing
✨ Summer at the Tasting Room There's still plenty of summer to enjoy! Our weekday lunch menu is available Monday–Friday from 12–3pm, and our outdoor terrace is the perfect place to gather over seasonal bites, vineyard views, and a glass (or two) of your favorite wine.
🎶 Thursday Summer Evenings Make the most of summer with us! Throughout August, we'll be open until 7pm every Thursday, featuring live music from 5–7pm. Sip your way through our special Wine Spritz menu—available alongside our full food and wine menu—and settle in for a relaxed evening at the vineyard.
✨ August Highlights & Events Summer is still in full swing, and there's plenty happening around the vineyard:
- Thursday Summer Evenings – Extended hours until 7pm every Thursday with live music (5–7pm) and our seasonal Wine Spritz menu.
- Summer Music Sundays continue every Sunday from 1–4pm.
- North Fork Oyster Nights return on select Fridays with Peconic Gold oysters and wines by the glass.
- Three Village Farmers Market continues on select dates throughout the month.
- Outdoor Terrace Season is at its best—join us for lunch, a tasting, or a relaxing afternoon with friends.
