Dear Members,
Harvest has arrived—we began the 2024 Harvest with Pinot Blanc on Monday, September 9th and have continued harvesting steadily all Fall. September was beautiful for grape development with cooler daytime temperatures and below average evening temperatures throughout the month of September resulting in beautifully developed flavors while retaining nice levels of acidity. This is one of our favorite times of year as we get to experience the joy and satisfaction of harvesting the berries that we, and the team, have worked tirelessly all growing season to nurture and cultivate.
Over the coming weeks and months lots of work will be happening in the vineyard and at the winery to harvest, press, ferment, and age this years grapes into the wines we will enjoy next year (and beyond)!
