As we wrap up our first full year as Suhru & Lieb Vineyards, we can’t help but take a step back and savor the moments that made 2025 so memorable. It’s been a year of growth, creativity, and community—one that brought exciting new wines, tasting room updates, and some truly special recognition from near and far. Before we head into a new season, we’re raising a glass to everything we achieved together, and offering a little peek at what’s coming in 2026.

We kicked off the year by focusing on the Tasting Room:
Tasting Room Mocktails
One of the most delightful additions was our new line of wine-inspired mocktails. They quickly became favorites—refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for anyone choosing a non-alcoholic option without sacrificing taste.
A New Wine Club Level: Vintner’s Choice
We were thrilled to launch our newest Wine Club tier, Vintner’s Choice, a four bottle club created as a direct result of Member feedback to include 4 bottles each quarter, a great way to explore our entire portfolio throughout the year.

2025 was a standout year for media recognition:
Our Cabernet Franc was featured in The New York Times, spotlighting Long Island’s signature red.
Pinot Blanc received a glowing feature on VinePair who describe it as“bright and irresistible”
Sparkling Golden Muscat was named Wine of the Week by The Cork Report .
Our newly released 4 Pinots white blend was selected to be featured in Northforker’s Wine Club in July.
These features shine a light on the heart of what we do—thoughtful, expressive winemaking rooted in the North Fork.

We were thrilled to expand our sparkling portfolio with Sparkling La Crescent and Sparkling Golden Muscat, two vibrant additions that quickly became tasting room fan favorites. Their release, along with our growing sparkling program, led to a major honor:
Best Sparkling Wine, Best Tasting Room, Best Winery, and Best Tasting Room Staff in the 2025 Dan’s Papers Best of the Best awards.
These nods from our community mean the world to us, and they’ve inspired us to keep raising the bar.

One of the biggest transformations this year happened quietly—but made a major impact.
We completed a significant database upgrade, improving the speed, reliability, and functionality of our website, webstore, and Wine Club system.
These updates mean:
Shopping online is smoother and easier
Wine Club members can access and manage their accounts with far less friction
Checkout, shipping options, and communication tools run more seamlessly than ever
It’s all part of our commitment to making your experience—from browsing to sipping—more enjoyable and intuitive.

This year brought meaningful progress in the fields as well:
Our estate bee program expanded to eight hives, producing more delicious vineyard honey throughout the season.
We completed the first-ever Saperavi planting on Long Island, marking a major milestone for regional viticulture.
We released the first Reserve Teroldego, showcasing the depth, structure, and winemaking potential of this Northern Italian variety.
These efforts reflect our long-term vision: to grow distinctive, expressive fruit that reflects the diversity and beauty of the North Fork.
The momentum continues, and we can’t wait to share what’s next. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming in the new year:
New Wines on the Horizon
Lagrein, arriving Winter 2026—another bold, cool-climate red we’re excited to introduce.
A new chillable red, perfect for spring sipping and laid-back gatherings.
Updated Outdoor Patio
We’re refreshing our patio space this spring, creating an even more welcoming spot to enjoy warm weather, weekend flights, and special events.

As we look back on 2025, one thing stands out: none of this would have been possible without YOU. Thank you for visiting the tasting room, sharing our wines with friends, joining our Wine Club, or simply opening a bottle at your table—we’re grateful for every moment you’ve been part of our journey.
With new wines, new experiences, and new stories ahead, we can’t wait to raise a glass with you in 2026.
Cheers to another wonderful year! 🍷✨
